2. I love this album. It was something a friend played to me years ago (on vinyl) and that I didn't track down again until recently. Back then Lou Reed was making hit singles, like Walk on The Wild Side (limited to the length of `hit records', of course) but on this album you will hear a hilarious 14 minute deconstructed version that includes a droll monologue explaining the /5(45).

But if you appreciate pre- New York Lou, Take No Prisoners demonstrates, perhaps more than any other Reed artifact, the importance of major attitude and myth to classic punk/5(54).

7. referencing Lou Reed Live - Take No Prisoners, 2xLP, Album, Gat, XL , AL There's a mistake in the Tracklist of this German version. It states side C: Walk On The Wild Side / Leave Me Alone and Side D: Coney Island Baby / Street Hassle, although it's the other way around.
