  1. SHOOTING STAR Vinyl Records and CDs The band formed in the late s. After gaining popularity in the Kansas City area and winning some local rock contests sponsored by FM Rock radio station (based in Kansas City) KY, Shooting Star became the first American group to sign with Virgin Records.

The burner is not going to pull extra 1's and 0's out of the air. So the fidelity of the CD-R source won't be higher than the original CD unless it is recorded from a higher fidelity source.

There is no reason why an audio CDR should sound any better than a data cdr of equivalent quality (which will be cheaper). CDR' s rarely sound any different between brands, although i have noticed that on one of my cd players it likes the cdr's burnt at a lower speed.

My point in this thread was to answer the question at the top, and not to belabor it to those who are closed-minded on the subject.

  7. Jan 15,  · Yep, your CD-R should sound just as bad as the original CD. After that, any difference between a CD-R and a manufactured copy of a music CD is purely imagination. the 'music' will simply sound like a buzzing noise, as random 1s and 0s would sound being translated by a DAC). It can't simply sound "brighter" due to copy imperfections.
